Reed Diffusers How do they work?
Reed diffusers draw diffuser oil from the bottles up into the reeds, allowing the scent to disperse into the air. With no flames, they are especially great in situations where the traditional candle may not be permitted.
Remember, as with all reed diffusers, please use caution when placing as the oils can damage finishes on your furniture. Average prices for these items that we sell as a package can range anywhere from $10-$75! We charge only $6.
“Why the price? The local discount sells them SO much cheaper!”
What you find in most chain stores are reeds made of bamboo which isn’t a very good wood to draw up the max amount of fragrance. Our reed sticks come in rattan. Rattan has a honeycomb shaped hollow center, drawing up fragrance throughout instead of just the edges, or in some cases even cheaper versions – a wooden stick made with wood you could get from your backyard which will barely draw up the scent, if at all.
Cormar Company does not “cut” the diffuser oil with anything as well. There is no alcohol or water, which means nothing to make it dry up faster than natural dispersion or clog up the rattans. This 2 ounce size will last you as long as the larger bottles found in chains as well. Our reed diffusers last approximately 3-5 months, without the big bulky bottle sitting around!
What does “type” mean?
Type is used when a scent or fragrance is licensed for use by a company. The exact makeup of the original scent is undisclosed, so when the word “type” appears, this is also called a dupe. It can smell just the same as the “original”; however the makeup differs from the licensed recipe.
Why are your bath and body products uncolored?
At Cormar Company, we feel we’d rather bring you a quality product at a decent cost. The special coloring required to barely tint our bath and body products, that would not stain you, your clothes or your bath would be cost prohibitive for a merely cosmetic appeal. We prefer quality over appearance. Besides, no one we know has ever bought body wash or lotion because it was “pretty” in barely tinted pink!
